Cartgate Picnic Area Toilets

Was a lovely picnic area to stop off on our journey down to Cornwall, decent cafe available during the daytime. Outdoor bench tables and Plenty of parking for trucks, cars and caravan/motorhomes. The toilets can be hit and miss, depending on time of day as I assume they are done by the local council.

Since the new toilets have been fitted out, I have found them much less user friendly, the flush is difficult and hardly supplies enough water to flush, the last time I visited 2 cubicles were out of order. 10 days later they are still not in order. Not the best any more I'm afraid.

Great place for a break. Clean toilets. Didn't use the cafe but it looked nice. Lots of picnic tables if you have your own food, which I did. Decent amount of parking for larger vehicles 👍🏻
