It's not every day that I write a review for a hire company but after decades of having my requirements met I felt compelled to share my positive experience. After having had 4 trees felled last summer, I wanted to remove the tree stumps so that we could use the area for more parking when we have family and friends round, so I contacted Chiltern Hire to enquire about a stump grinder. Rob was absolutely brilliant, he reassured me that the stump grinders they had would do the job and do it well. He also took the time to ensure that I understood how to use the machine and it's safety features. Keith delivered the Camon sg30 stump grinder and took the time to go through operating the machine, and what a machine it was! Absolutely brilliant, it did the job and just as Rob assured me, it did the job well! From initial enquiry to the end result, I was left most impressed by Rob's customer service approach. This family run business run by Peter, Robert and Rachel is exceptional. They are always very accommodating. On arrival there is always plenty of laughter and chit chat and the coffee is always very well appreciated. Over the years they have been very helpful with equipment we have utilised in our home talking us through how to utilise the equipment safely. I must just mention one winter my parents heating went down and Chiltern Hire came to the rescue going over and above to provide heaters for them till the problem was resolved. This was very much appreciated by my parents and I am forever grateful. So recommend this family business I do 100% all your needs are accommodated. Just one of the best xx
