Kitchen Pod Hire

An enormous big thank you to the Kitchen Pod Hire Company in Hillsborough for all their assistance during our on going kitchen refurb. January is never the best time of year to knock down walls and lose your kitchen but having access to this firm was amazing and made the process relatively stress free. Jeremy was easy to deal with, always professional and prompt to sort any minor issues. Set up of the pod was straight forward. We had all our mod cons - hot and cold running water, gas oven, microwave and best of all a washing machine ( all the dust and dirt in the house made this invaluable). The Pod was delivered in immaculate condition and had ample space for all our dishes, saucepans, food etc - i have to say i really enjoyed cooking in it and was sad to see it go. As with all building projects, time scales were fluid and Jeremy was very accommodating in sorting us with an extra week on request to get us through a few extra pieces of work. I cannot recommend this company enough! Apart from the service they deliver we feel we have made a new friend in Jeremy and are looking forward to him popping in for coffee when our new and fabulous kitchen is completed.

A fantastic service from Jeremy and the team at kitchen pod hire. From initial enquiry to install and collection, communication was quick and easy. The pod arrived early one morning - fully kitted out with everything you’d need in a temporary kitchen - it really was a home from home! Flexibility in extending our hire of the pod after a small over run was no problem at all. All in all a great service - have no hesitation in recommending.

When we embarked on our extension project, one of us had realistic expectations of the disruption and the other thought that a slow cooker, microwave, kettle and toaster in our office would be all we needed! (you might be surprised at which way round this was?!) Then realisation hit that actually we would have no kitchen for a couple of months, and it actually was, and how would we actually cope especially with a toddler in the mix. Plus we would lose our washing machine for this time too. The Kitchen Pod ticked all the boxes for us. It gave us all we were going to miss - home cooked meals, somewhere to wash dishes and somewhere to wash clothes. When the pod arrived it was immaculate and definitely surpassed expectations. There was plenty of storage space with both cupboards and drawers plus good counter space. We soon had it filled up and it felt like 'our' kitchen for a couple of months. Throughout it all the customer service we received was second to none with a site visit to ensure suitability, set up, full explanation on delivery, messages to check how we were getting on and prompt attention when we had issues with the washing machine.
