Lav Hire Ltd

I recently used Lav Hire for a large party. Sam and his team could not have been more helpful - the toilets were delivered on time and collected promptly on the Monday. The luxury toilets were exceptionally well presented and exactly what I wanted and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend them.

** BEWARE ** I would not recommend using this company after my awful experience at the weekend! The owners disgusting attitude was embarrassing & completely unnecessary. I phoned several companies last week to try & hire a portable toilet for my daughters birthday, Lav Hire were the only company who could help - on meeting the owner I could see why. There was lack of communication at the start - no confirmation or reply to my text messages. Phone turned off the morning of the party, no reply to my voicemails. Eventually received a text message with rough drop off time. On arrival I asked if the portable toilet could be placed out of sight in a wooded area away from the house. The delivery driver said I would need to speak to "the boss" who was on the phone. He immediately started the conversation with an attitude, saying he had already told my husband this couldn't be done. When asking why he said there was no way it could be collected from that area, I said we had rear access into the garden & would be happy for them to drive over the lawn to collect it. He was very agitated, & instead of explaining to me in a calm and rational manner why this wouldn't be possible he went "Fine if you don't want it don't have it!" & jumped back onto the van. I said of course we do, I have loads of people turning up for a party in 2-hours - of course I need it! By this point he was throwing his hands up in the area shouting about not having time for all this, that I'm trying to tell him how to do his job etc etc! 6 adults witnessed this full grown man having a complete tantrum & we were all left open-mouthed as he sped off the drive! We were left completely dumb struck at his lack of empathy the fact that we were now left without a toilet (not that I would have wanted to give him my money anyway with that sort of attitude!) It was one of those moments where everyone looked at each other and was trying to understand what on earth they just witnessed - a man who instead of explaining & talking to a customer threw his toys out the pram & stomped off like a child in a huff who didn't want to play. We have had no apology nor do I expect one unfortunately. I can imagine with this attitude that the company has lack of repeat business - the warning sign was there that they were the only company in Kent who still had toilets available to hire at the last minute! I would save yourself the hassle of this cowboy & find a reputable company to do business with.

Called up Lav Hire at the last minute for an urgent job for one of my customers and they were very friendly and helpful. They were booked up but fitted in a delivery of 9 toilets the next day as they said they would and collected them the day after. I will defiantly be using them again.
